Game drives in Tarangire, Manyara National Parks and Ngorongoro Conservation Areas
DAY 1 ARUSHA - TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK
Depart with your naturalist guide for Tarangire, Tanzania's third largest national park and sanctuary for an unusually large elephant population. Majestic baobab trees are an interesting feature of the park, dwarfing the animals that feed beneath them.. Overnight at Maramboi Tented Camp or Burunge Tented Camp.
DAY 2. TARANGIRE - LAKE MANYARA NATIONAL PARK
Early morning walk at Tarangire before departing for Karatu. Visit to Manyara National Park. After lunch drive to Karatu, visit to the market and surroundings. Overnight Ngorongoro Farm House or Tloma Lodge.
DAY 3 . NGORONGORO CRATER - KARATU
Morning depart to Ngorongoro Crater with picnic lunch. Descend into the 100-square-mile Ngorongoro Crater to view game on the vast grasslands of the crater floor. Spectacular animal life can be found throughout the year due to the permanent availability of grass and water. Overnight Ngorongoro Farm House or Tloma Lodge.
DAY 4. KARATU – ARUSHA
After breakfast depart to Arusha by road. Lunch. Transfer to Kilimanjaro or Arusha Airport
