Activities available at Lake Masek Tented Camp
Bush breakfasts & sundowners:
In private areas of the park, pleasant set-ups arranged for private breakfasts and/or cocktails.
Visit to Olduvai archeological site:
The camp is located one-hour drive from this important archeological site.
Visit Laetoli Archeological site:
Visit to the area where footprints of two Australopithecus afarensis
were discovered in 1974-1975 by Mary Leakey and demonstrate that 3.6
million years ago early humans were walking upright on two legs.
Escorted hikes with Masai Guides:
An extraordinary opportunity to walk together with a very experienced
Masai Guide who will introduce guests to their culture and everyday
activities. In addition, we can arrange visit to a Masai house
(boma).
Flying packages:
Flying packages can be organized before arrival. We can pick up guest
from the nearest airstrips. There are 4wd based in the camp offering
fantastic game drives in the area.
